Although they look board lasted, all woven Huaraches are made using a single and continuous leather strip of leather which is woven into the insole.

John, thanks for your interest in Huaraches. Huaraches are for the most part worn by older, more traditional Mexicans, for this reason very few people in Mexico understand the international potential of this type of footwear. Also huarache production is usually small quantities made by teams of between 3 and 5 people, so not large enough for big international orders. My blog also attempts to show which styles can be found in which cities, choose the style you like and fly directly to the source. Good luck, Markus.
